IFTTT (If This Then That) is the most consumer-friendly automation platform with 700+ services and excellent mobile app support.

Quick Setup

  1. Go to IFTTT and click "Create"
  2. Click "+ If This" and select your trigger
  3. Click "+ Then That" and search "Webhooks"
  4. Select "Make a web request"
  5. Configure URL with API key as query parameter

Limitations

  • ⚠️ Simple workflows only - No multi-step automations
  • ⚠️ Limited data mapping - Basic field mapping
  • ⚠️ No error handling - Failed applets don't retry

When to use: You need simple automations and you're non-technical. For complex logic, use Zapier or Make instead.
